1st Post of the New
Hello, and welcome to the first post of the new dotSpiral.
The blog had started back in August 2007 using the Spiral Blog application, then switch to Word Press (July 2008), and the past week: we revamped the site to a new layout and a new fresh start.
Although the design is finished, the site is not. We are still in the middle of formatting the layout through the whole website.
Now a statement to be made.
I have made many articles, posts, and blogs on this site. I have learn that I am capable of posting everyday, but I no longer have the time to commit. It is now time to be professional. It is time to take the “Sony Route”.
The Sony Route is the path that Sony, the big company with the Playstation 3 at the moment, choose quality over quantity. Their PS3 is one hot product…. however against Nintendo’s Wii’s Quantity, the Playstation 3 is no match.
Nintendo’s Quantity over with some Quality. (THE WII)
Sony’s Quality over some Quantity. (The PS3)
There are plenty of Wiis,
there aren’t many PS3s.
Do you get the idea?
I like both paths but my options were:
Quantity over Quality.
Quality over Quanttiy.
Unfortunately my quantity did not have some quality, and it was very slobbish to me.
Thus the move to the “Sony Path”!
Now what is there to look forward to?
I am going to bring some interesting articles every now and then. They will be personal experiences, reviews, and ideas that may define anything that you can make out of it.
For something upcoming: I am going to the Anime Expo tomorrow. DeviantArt is hosting 2 workshops about being “How to be a Succesful Manga/Online Artist” and “How to Self Publish Manga and Anime”. I will be taking notes and I will also post it up here.
Stay browsing!
An update from the future! (Feburary 2009)
Today, I have taken both route. Anraiki, my personal blog, now takes the Nintendo Route, and dotSpiral continues to take the Sony Route. The results in the blog world?
Site – Visitors – Time
anraiki.com 198 00:05:10
dotspiral.com 166 00:09:29
More People go to Anraiki than dotSpiral.
More Time is spent browsing on dotSpiral than Anraiki.
Either path is a good route!
Which means that it doesn’t matter whether you blog everyday or try to blog great stuff: To me, it matters that you continuing blogging and you do not give up on it
Happy blogging!
