Kommiku and Torchlight

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

Here is a quick update to what I am doing to Kommiku at the moment.
I coded the program wrong. So now I am converting small parts of the program to be coded the right way.
It’s like Torchlight.
I am going to release a good part of the program within January.
Then the multilayer comes in. Which is the “dump feature” for Kommiku (I am debating whether I should sell this or not).
Then for 3.0
I am going to [...]

Future of Kommiku

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Happy Holidays everyone!
I know it has been over 3 months since I last posted a blog, and I wanted to explain that I was just “busy” with school. You can track that information source on my personal blog or twitter…
Getting straight to the point:
Kommiku 2.0 is not dead. Even though, I posted a OMV (Online Manga Viewer) which accepts “dumps”, I am still going to work on Kommiku for its feature to connect socially with [...]

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Gyah!
If it weren’t for Dragonica (Dragon-Nika? Some people pronounce it as Dra-Gone-Ne-Ka), I be more focus on Kommiku 2.0 at the moment.
But anyway, here is a progress report on Kommiku.

The headline may be deceiving but really, Kommiku is not going on a Hiatus.
I been working hard on 2.0 and been thinking of other revisions for 1.4 (possibly a 1.5?!)
But on to the point: The Hiatus.
Until, I get Kommiku 2.0 up, I will be going on a hiatus for Eslend and Think.
I am also thinking of revising the “Think” web comic.
Further note:
Kommiku 1.4 may just go unencrypted.
So if you are a PHP expert, you can [...]

The Right Criticism

Friday, March 13th, 2009

I always hear so many people asking for constructive criticism or any sort of criticism towards their work. The problem with criticism is that it changes the work of the artist to be of “others”. So if I asked for criticism from a friend on how to draw a head, and he tells me to draw a box, the piece I am working on will feel less than my own work.

What Twitter can really do for YOU

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Twitter, the application taking the world by storm, can be like a drug. Or is a drug. I am not sure, but people are admitting that it is addicting. Socially addicting! Come on… “give it a try” :)
